It’s official! Randal Stout of Randal Stout Entertainment was awarded the AACWP “2010 My Favorite Vendor” award in the DJ category!
The AACWP (American Association of Certified Wedding Planners) is the planning association based in Dallas, Texas. The AACWP is a networking group of wedding planners and also an organization for training and certifying those wishing to become wedding planners.
Once a year, the AACWP has their own version of the academy awards known as the “My Favorite Vendor” awards. Randal has been nominated each of the three years that these awards have been presented, and takes the win in 2010.
“It is a great honor,” says Randal, “We enjoy working hand in hand with wedding planners as they make our job much easier, and it is our pleasure to return the favor and make their weddings run much smoother.”
Randal is will be celebrating his 20th year in business in December of 2010. He has performed at over 1,500 events in that time and this award comes on the coat-tails of winning the 2009 JWI Business Growth award from his peers in January of this year.
Last year, in the midst of a downturn economy, Randal Stout Entertainment saw a 100% increase (double their previous business), with more to come this year!

A party so big it requires three of the best disc jockeys in the Dallas area. Randal Stout aka “DJ White Chocolate”, Marshall Leak III aka “DJ Master J” and Chris Andrews aka “Big Daddy” will be spinning a huge mix of music for all tastes.
All are welcome! The only requirement is that you dress to impress in all black. Puff Daddy had his famous white party, now we’re doing it all black.
Go to www.theblackpartyNYE.com to register. Registration is $65 online or $75 at the door. Price includes cocktails and food. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the AIDS Services of Dallas.

Kaity & Brandon got married and had their reception at Marc Events in the Dallas Design District. We were asked to help by their day-of planner, Susan Strauss of Event Studio.
We lit up the place with both uplights and pinspots on all the centerpieces. Pictures coming soon, and we can’t wait to see them. The photographer was Sarah Kate Barger.
Guests came in for the reception and enjoyed cocktail hour with the Picstrips.com Photo Booth. Pictures have been posted and you can get to them through this link.
The event was awesome. Great guests, great planner, great photos. More on the story as it progresses…

Review for our DJ Greg Michaels.

I never got the opportunity to blog about Tracy and Steven's wedding ceremony and reception because it took until about three months ago for me to finally get the pictures. Better late than never, so here we go.
Shari Johns with
As You Wish gave me a call to help with Tracy and Steven's wedding at
Marie Gabrielle Restaurant in Uptown Dallas. She did a great job at explaining that Tracy's personality is larger than life and that definately came through both her and Steven's vision of how they wanted their wedding to be.
Insider Commentary by Randal Stout The ceremony included mariachis playing and a solo by a guitar player, and of course a sound system that I dare you to find in the picture above. We hid those speakers out of sight. On the minister, Marty Younkin of
Love Notes Weddings, we have a wireless microphone as well as our groom Steven.

There are so many neat details that went into the decor. For me, we were asked to do the sound for the ceremony, I was the MC/DJ for the reception and then Lumen did the lighting.

I've always wondered what Lisa thinks when I cover up the sign that says Marie Gabrielle. Here is our dance floor. We brought in our white pipe and drape and then uplit it with LEDs which we are able to change colors throughout the evening. On the drape we put Steven's initial B which was in the font that appeared on their invitation.

Meredith Liewehr, owner of the DFW Perfect Wedding Guide magazine asked us to help with her biggest party yet, the 10th Anniversary Party of the Guide in our area. Meredith and her husband Jason purchased the DFW franchise from Tim Chisolm approximately two years ago.
The event was held at NTX Auto Museum in Richardson. The theme for the event was “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. The ballroom at NTX is HUGE! So huge in fact, that the planner Marla Watson-Werst asked Quest Drape to cordon it off to bring it down to size. Our company lit the perimeter of the room with Tiffany blue lights and placed the new PWG logo on the wall as guests entered.
In addition we provided the Picstrips.com Photo Booth. To see the booth photos from the event, click here.
The team for the party was huge and also included: Catering by Marc DePetris of Marc Events, bar service by Ray Thomas of RayTini, Ruthie Stivers of Delicious Cakes, Shana Thomas of The Urban Blossom, LiveWire Special Events, TLC Rentals, Celebration Event Rental, Hampton-Morrow Photography and BluDoor Studios.
Congratulations to Christina & Andrew Tirbeni on their wedding! These two were so much fun in getting to know. Andrew needs to be a part of the Randal Stout Entertainment team.
Their wedding reception was at the
City Club of Fort Worth and their high school friend, Sarah Wright was the coordinator for them at the club.
We received a link to the highlights video from the wedding! Here is Adrianne’s work!

I met Jennifer & Eric at the open house that was held at the Victory Arts Center in Fort Worth. They were a very sweet couple and were planning their wedding long distance. This was my first opportunity to work at Victory Arts Center and with Cheryl Allgood of Foster Blue & Co.
